Rambunctious beginnings

Should I add to the explosion of blog pollution?

This is my first blog. OK, there, I've said it. Whatever naiveté that I might have about blog sophistication has left at the outset. Or perhaps more correctly, not arrived when it might have been most needed.

Anyway, I'm going to add an infinitessimally small amount of blog text to the accelerating expansion of the virtual universe, inhabited by blog galaxies and nebulae among the many other things; some discovered, others yet to be discovered.

I personally would have liked 'blog to the be the standard spelling, but alas; the youthful drivers of virtual creation have it in for apostrophes and commas, while I am still sufficiently troglodytial to hold them with true affection. Where 'Apostrophe Man' goes, I follow; nodding in approval and certitude.

Having said that, 'Bloggs' is one of the forms of 'Doe' as in the North American, 'John Doe'. Here in Antipodean Australia, we have, among the anonymous, 'Joe Bloggs'. So you see, in some karmic way, the 'Bloggs' of anonymity has become the blog of contemporary nonymity. But no-one owns up to the nonymity of it all. Identities are crafted to make sure that the best feet are utterly forward, and all errors and flaws are purely stylistic. Nothing goes out into the ether that isn't highly controlled; and you know what? I'm no different.

And that's where this blog will end.

No different, and clearly enjoying it.
